Dani predominantly uses the imagery of fruit in her work - she is interested in their metaphorical and symbolic use in both visual art and literature. Dani uses traditional oil painting techniques including oil glazes and strong light and shade, creating a sense of drama. There is a surreal quality in some of her work, but also a respectful nod to the great masters of the 15th and 16th centuries.
